NYC Wedding Venues To Put On Your must see List!

Welcome to part one of our NYC Wedding Venues to put on your must see list! As exciting as choosing a wedding venue is, it is also one of the most overwhelming for many couples. It can be difficult to wade through all the necessary details you need to know.

Will it fit in your budget? Is it large (or small) enough? Can I host my ceremony and reception on-site? Is there space for us to prep for the day? Is there parking?

All the “need to knows” before you even tour can create stress. We’ve worked with a lot of Manhattan wedding venues, as well Brooklyn and of course, New Jersey too. So, needless to say, we have insight and experience that we lean on to recommend the right fit for your needs.

So, if you’re finding that choosing a wedding venue is difficult for you, this blog series is for you!

If you already know that you don’t want to tackle this process alone, contact me about our wedding planning packages!

Jasna Polana, Princeton, NJ

This beautiful 230 acre countryside space in New Jersey has four different venue spaces available. In the market for a larger venue and this is your go-to, classic and timeless elegance while allowing for larger parties. The Travertine Room offers panoramic views of the estate and can hold 50-200 seated guests and 50-250 standing. The Theatre Garden has amphitheatre tiers and beautiful grass, this space also holds 50-200 seating guests. The Annex house is a beautiful brick mansion that has 10 rooms that can be used as guests rooms. This space can fit 2-20 seated and standing. The Beata House is another space that has room accomadations and has a more contemporary feel.

If you want a four-course meal service, Jasna Polana has this down to a science. In fact, it’s the only option for weddings. This venue also doesn’t “room flip” - which means you can’t host your ceremony and reception in the same space.

Check out their website and Instagram to get a feel for this venue.

This is also a members-only venue. If you’re looking to host your wedding at a members-only venue that you aren’t currently affiliated with, we’re happy to walk you through the process!

Cipriani, NYC

For those seeking an enchanted and ornate style Cipriani 42nd Street is the wedding venue for you. Inspired by the Italian Renaissance, this space can accommodate up to 850 guests making it one of the larger venues on the list. The space is conveniently located in the heart of Manhattan and is an inspired masterpiece showcasing towering marble columns, soaring ceilings, magnificent floors and amazing chandeliers.

Bowery Hotel, NYC

This timeless reception venue has two spaces for accommodations. The Bowery Terrace which can seat up to 300 guests. The Terrace is a beautiful timeless space that fits a large amount of guests but offers that intimate feeling throughout. The exposed brick and beautiful string lights create a classic look. The Gemma Wine room is smaller accommodating up to 45 guests which is perfect for a cocktail hour.

A note about getting married at a hotel - the hotel and venue are totally separate. Most of the time the hotel and the event space/event company will not talk to one another, so it is like booking two vendors instead of one.

The Plaza, NYC

A modern and timeless venue that I’m sure you’ve seen featured in pop culture a time or two. The Plaza has two venues to accommodate your wedding. The Grand Ballroom and The Terrace which both can fit 300+ guests making them some of the larger on the list. We also recommend reserving The Palm Court for your cocktail hour for the ultimate luxury and unforgettable guests experience. Both rooms offer beautiful architectural design to enhance your wedding decor. This venue is true luxury.
